Dilansir Washington Post dan dikutip detikINET, Selasa (11/9/2012), tablet berukuran 7 inch ini dibanderol seharga USD 150. Di dalamnya terdapat sejumlah fitur yang akan disukai para orangtua, yakni parental control untuk mengawasi penggunaan tablet si anak.
Berbasis Android, boleh dibilang tablet ini masuk dalam kategori entry-level dengan spesifikasi lumayan. Dipersenjatai prosesor 1GHz, layar multitouch dan built-in storage 4GB.
Tersedia juga konektivita WiFi, kemampuan menampilkan web berbasis Flash, kamera depan, serta port HDMI sehingga anak-anak bisa mengkoneksikan tablet ke TV.
Dalam paket pembelian Tabeo, sudah tersedia 50 pre-loaded game, buku digital, dan aplikasi edukasi. Selain itu, akses ke toko aplikasi Tabeo Store, menyediakan lebih dari 6.000 aplikasi.
Tabeo akan mulai dijual Toys R Us pada 21 Oktober, namun para orangtua yang berminat bisa mulai melakukan pemesanan dari sekarang.
