Dengan eksterior unibody yang curvy, Acer Iconia Tab A500 dilengkapi dengan NVidia Tegra Dual Core 1 GHz dan OS Android Honeycomb, yang didesain khusus untuk tablet dan memiliki performa maksimal untuk dual-core. Selain itu terdapat pula USB Host support dan tentunya dapat mengakses web Flash 10.1/2.
